Baby Awareness:
Discovering your baby through Information, self-awareness and infant massage

With all the pop-psychology parenting techniques out there, it's hard to tell fact from fiction.
As an Early Educator and Marriage and Family Therapy Intern,
I thought it vital to provide parents with real, simplified, research based and practical
information in parenting their infants and toddlers.

And we all know babies don't come with manuals!
This might be for good reason as your baby is unique, with her/his own
set of temperaments, preferences and ways to communicate.
Some common questions I hear as a Mental Health
and Disabilities Specialist
(maybe these sound familiar to you):

Is my baby old enough to understand what I say to him?

Will my baby become spoiled if I hold her too much?

Is my infant/toddler developing normally?

How can I be the best parent I can be?

You are not alone in your quest for knowledge and this page
can be your guide!  If you're a parent in Long Beach, CA you might find some
of these links especially useful.

I am just beginning to put up this site but please send ideas,
